Dr. Aisha Allen
Nurse Anesthetist, Entrepreneur,
Life Alignment Coach
By trade I am CRNA. But I spend most of my time as a real estate investor, STR host, and alignment mentor to nurses that want to leave the bedside.
Nurse anesthesia was one of the most vital steps I took to get to where I am today:
a 31 year old woman with more than $1,000,000 in her portfolio, w/diverse income sources, working as a CRNA 2 days a week, while getting to spend time doing more of what I love.
The only CRNA prep course you'll need.
Whether you're in high school, just started in the ICU, or are just considering this path. Start planning now.
Take this course at your own pace
I've included three free modules on this site to get you started.
If you purchase today, you also get a free trial membership in
the Ditch the Bedside Network.
(That's a place where we get together weekly to talk about making money outside of nursing- like real estate, airbnb, etc)

The modules
Learn about my journey
Learn about my journey to the four letters- CRNA. I talk about ICU, my applications, and even how I paid for tuition. Watch this module for free on this page above.
Nurse anesthesia basics
What is a nurse anesthesiologist? Is it Nurse anesthetist? What do they do? Where can they work? Let me help you answer your first interview question. Watch this module for free on this page too!
Licenses, Certification, Maintenance
Sounds like a lot. And it can be. Would you believe me if I told you that when I passed boards, I didn't remember to register with the state? In this module I break down the "paper work" associated with obtaining your degree and license, as well as maintaining it (cost estimates included)
Nurse anesthesia school Prerequirements
They are mandatory. If you apply without any of them, your application will be immediately rejected. I will take you step by step thru the mandatory and extra-curriculars I suggest to make your application stronger.
CCRN vs GRE
Are they both required? Can you skip them? Can they be waived? This module will help you with your decision tree.
Degrees and ICU experience
You must have the right degree from which must be from the right types of schools. I discuss the Associate, Bachelor, and Accelerated paths in detail. Your ICU experience also matters, but not in the way 'they' tell you. I even talk about how to make your travel nursing experience work for the application process.
Putting together your nurse anesthesia school application
It can be confusing as there are a lot of moving parts. LORs, resumes, CVs, personal statements. I discuss each of the components and give you some tips to assembling a complete application.
Choosing your CRNA school
You will walk away with my methods for selecting a school that works with you and is aligned with your goals. You have more choice in this matter than you think.
Front loaded or Integrated program?
You have to decide what works for you. There is no one size fits all. This module is a break down of the differences between the school models.
Timelines to apply for CRNA school
This is the module of modules. I will tell you the where, when and how. Need to take extra classes? Do it here. GRE or CCRN? "Make sure you take it before _____"
Paying for nurse anesthesia school
I know that you hear how expensive CRNA school. But please remember this is an investment with an amazing ROI. Finances are definitely a personal matter, however, there are so many ways to get it done. I talk about traditional financing, student loans, and scholarships.
